Servers
Could you benefit from a new server?
For businesses looking for a way to streamline their document handling and ensure the best productivity, a server system could be the perfect option. Computer servers allow you to be able to store all of a company's on a central device. This will make it easier for employees in different departments of a company to access and update the same documents.
Servers will also give you the option to be able to easily keep track of and back up the various software and other resources you may have.
We offer a broad collection of business servers in various sizes and formats, enabling you to get the right one for your requirements and for the best value possible.
Choosing a server
There are three types of server and each option offers its own features and benefits - so choosing the best one will depend on your business requirements.
Tower servers are one of the most popular options in the server market. As they as normally the server of choice for small businesses, as they look similar to a normal computers but contain more powerful hardware.
Servers for the use of larger applications the options to consider would have to be blade servers and rack servers. Racks are easier to keep cool, but blades have a modular construction that allows for simple scalability.
In addition, there are plenty of components and accessories to consider, such as KVM switches and associated cables, while there is UPS that are uninterruptable power supplies that will help to keep your system and data safe.
And if you're looking to upgrade your system, new hard drives, memory and rack cabinets are also available.

Storage & Backup
The importance of enterprise storage & backup
For any business, having the correct data storage is essential. This will ensure that you have enough space to keep all of your vital electronic documents, information and intellectual property - not to mention keeping them safe and properly backed up.
If you're looking for a new enterprise storage solution for your company, or need to upgrade your existing system, we offer a wide range of products at affordable prices.
Maintaining a backup copy of your data in case something goes wrong is one of those things that should never, ever, be overlooked. The long term health of your business could depend on having a good backup strategy in place. We can backup your data to another drive, another server, or another datacenter. The choice is yours. All you have to do is let us know what you need and we can customize a solution to fit your needs. If you're going to do one thing, make sure you backup your data!
How Will Storage Solutions Benefit My Organization?
Data storage management and storage virtualization can help you to:
- Improve efficiencies by reducing administrative overhead and freeing up IT resources
- Provide a central data storage management system
- Reduce data storage maintenance needs and expenses
- Achieve greater scalability for future growth and flexibility
What Comprises A Storage Solution?
An effective data storage solution can consist of one or more of the following components:
Storage Area Networks (SANs)
SANs are storage architecture that provide a high-speed redundant path to a pool of storage devices. These devices house data to maximize performance of servers and applications. SANs can be connected through a fiber or iSCSI interface.
Blade Servers
A blade server is the processing power of a traditional server housed with other blade servers in a chassis that shares the power, cooling, connectivity, and management of each server.
Storage Management
Software
Data storage management software provides central management of your data and data storage systems. Typical software will enable you to reduce the complexity of multiple data storage systems by automating data storage and availability across the network.
Archiving Software
Data archiving software automates the movement of data through various tiers of storage during the data’s life cycle. Archiving software can delete the file at the end of its retention period. Data archiving software also provides single‑instance storage of each file freeing up disk space and processing power for backup and storage systems.
E-Discovery Software
Using archiving software as a base, e-discovery software employs advanced search features and systematic archiving inventories enabling users to quickly search all files and e-mails for a particular topic. Legally significant files can be flagged to ensure they are not altered or deleted in accordance with data retention policies.
Data Deduplication
Most data on corporate networks is static and redundant meaning the same file is backed up multiple times on multiple devices. Data deduplication can provide significant cost savings by reducing both redundant data and the systems required to store the data. You will require less physical space within the data center which can translate to heating, cooling, and power savings.
Data Storage Virtualization
Data storage virtualization takes multiple data storage systems and makes them appear as a single data storage system. This is commonly used in conjunction with SANs to provide a single “virtual” data storage device.
How Will Backup Solutions Benefit My Business?
An effective backup plan sets the foundation for your disaster recovery strategy and can help your business achieve:
- Consistent availability of data
- Reduced storage costs
- Protection from financial loss
- Improved operational efficiencies
- Increased staff productivity
What Comprises a Backup Solution?
Effective backup solutions include the following:
Backup Software
Backup software ensures the protection and restoration of critical data to the strictest RTO and RPO, regardless of type or if it is located in physical or virtual environments. Best of breed products offer continuous data protection (CDP) of both file servers and databases.
Backup Systems
Backup systems can be disk-based (faster access and recovery) or tape-based (lower cost and highly portable). The growing trend is moving to disk-based, as it includes data deduplication capabilities.
Data Deduplication
Most network data is redundant; the same file is backed up on multiple devices. Data deduplication reduces redundancy and saves storage and energy costs.
Data Archiving Plan
It is critical to transition older or less used data to a slower, lower cost disk based storage appliance for a period of time before eventually moving that data further to even lower cost tape based storage. This tiering can be performed automatically, freeing up staff resources for more strategic projects.
Disaster Recovery Plan
Off-site storage of data is necessary to fully protect your organization from catastrophic events. These can be moved physically by taking tapes or removable hard drives to another location or electronically by replicating to a satellite location or cloud partner.
